So guys...what's the deal with South Africa's three capitals? I know that Pretoria is administrative, Cape Town is legislative, and Bloemfontein is judicial, but I don't really get it.

And this is relevant because we're including it in our team-drafted pack of Reach questions, even though the Reach writers probably wouldn't....

South Africa was merged in 1910. As a balance of power between the different ethnic groups, capitals were established in each of the three major regions: Cape Town in Cape Colony, Pretoria in the South African Republic, and Bloemfontein in the Orange Free State.

A 20-point special about South Africa's 3 capitals did in fact show up at the 2002 Ontario Provincials...
