How many games of interschool Reach does your school play per season?
Include all tournaments and assume your team will make provincials [provincials = 7 + tv]
Just wanna see whether my school plays a lot of Reach or a little.
Um...Good question. Maybe 17+tv? I'm not sure how many games we play at regionals, actually, and it varies from year to year as membership numbers change...but I guess...6 sub-regional and 4...championship. It's actually just one tournament spread over two days, and that's how I always think of it, so I don't have anything but rough guesstimates on the number of games.
How many does yours play?
...No, actually. It's more like 4-5 sub-regional and 2-3 championship. So 13-15 total.

I guess I'm lucky then.
My team plays something like 30 if we don't make provincials. 37+tv if we do.
More schools need to host tournaments. Too bad most people can't write good questions (even though it's so easy to). They act as fundraisers and are (hopefully/usually) fun for the teams attending.

I don't know how things are working out this year here, but last year we got 28 games over three tournaments (and of course, in the infamous S-M system, two-thirds of the games don't count). Add seven games at Provincials and we had 35 in all.
All of them were single round-robin, and there were 12 teams in our region, so you're looking at 11 games a tournament. Of course, they'd always
run late due to moderator ineptitude or "slow" games, and inevitably some games would be cut out.
(I need to start posting here more often despite the fact that I've graduated to QB.)
umm, I play about 8 pre-regional games and ten the regionals and then provincials, my teams record last year was 16-3
By the way, how do you joing the community and actully post posts?
You've already joined the community. To post, write your entry, and then go to the bottom of the update journal page. Right next to the "update journal" button, there's a field that says "post to:" with a drop-down menu next to it. It'll say the name of your journal (moonbeams) but you should be able to pick from the communities you belong to. Pick "reach4thetrivia" from that menu, and press "update journal"
I know, but when I go down there, I can only post to "moonbeans"
Oh! I'm sorry, I was mistaken. You don't have posting access because you haven't joined the community yet, you've only added it to your friendslist. To join the community, you can click here
, or go to our userinfo page
, where there's the same link for you to click.
